This contest is the first time they've officially been used since then, and this card bears the fruits of my labor.

It was a long endeavor, but as of the beginning of this contest, they're finally at a stage where they can be fully available to anyone and everyone for free use. I tried to keep my notes short, but I had a lot to say.Īnyone who's followed me for any amount of time knows that I've poured a huge amount of time into these Omnium blanks for the purpose of having a template that can support each and every gimmick that's been in the card game since all the way back to Base Set.

There is also an alternate version of this card where the swooshy parts are violet instead of indigo. It really did turn out better than I had hoped for, and it all paid off wonderfully, because with 46.5/50 points, I won first place in CaC July 2019 not only in the image-based category, but I also got the highest score overall! My first CaC contest and I surprised even myself. Or really anything that's supposed to look intense like this card. This is by far the most detailed card I've ever made and I'm going to have a real hard time topping it whenever the time comes for me to make other LEGEND cards. The theme was "React Energy", so everyone had to make a card that reacted with the old React Energy card from EX Legend Maker, so I took the theme and had a little fun with it.
